Gaston Concert Association seeks to provide a variety of musical genres. Classical pianist, strings, and vocalist certainly continue to be included; however, jazz, blues, country, and movies and Broadway hits are popular, and we’re always evolving to bring musical variety at an incredible value.

Artists that have appeared in the past include Mac Frampton, Maria Howell, Jennifer Prince, Rob Verdi, and Jason Coleman. A few of the groups that have delighted the audience in the past are Dallas Brass, The Western Piedmont Symphony, Cab Calloway Orchestra, The Diamonds, The Kingston Trio, and Good Company.

Shanka La-Verne Pettis, a Gastonia native, is a national recording classical recitalist, vocal coach and vocal producer. 

NIGHT AND DAY: Starring Kevin Spirtas   

Kevin Spiritas sings familiar broadway songs and is a 30-year acting veteran best known for Broadway appearances and NBC’s daytime drama, Days of Our Lives.

These three gentlemen have rearranged the immortal melodies of the Liverpool quartet, readapting them into a wider-ranging, symphonic structure. Their superb arrangements use traditional instruments in new ways. Think the Beatles in tuxedos.

Portraits of America Feat. George Bugatti

George Bugatti is an American singer/ pianist and songwriter. Discovered while performing at the Peninsula Hotel in Beverly Hills by The Tonight Show creator Steve Allen, Bugatti was quickly singled out to be the prolific comedian’s protégé.

Tight harmonies and an explosive, energetic sound that pays tribute to the group’s Mountain Music Heritage that both entertains and impresses..
